How To Care For Your Golf Clubs Like A Baby

from: Roberts

Your golf clubs are the most expensive accessory of your golf kit. Even though golfers pay a packet for them, most of them do not take care of them well, or they don't know how they can go about doing it.

Now that you have bought golf clubs after spending so much time, money and thought over it, it is important for you to spend a little more of your time to learn about its proper usage and above all its maintenance and storage.

You should buy the correct type of bag, first of all. There should be a metal covering on the sides, so that they are reasonably tough to prevent any damage to your clubs. The metal could be steel, for example. If the golf bag hits against something or the clubs fall out, they can be protected by the metal covering.

If you have a golf bag which has a locking system, it can ward off thieves. There are golf bags available now which have a flap or a door on top of it. This flap has a locking system and you can fit in a simple lock and key or have a number protected lock.

You can paint, embroider or emboss your name on the side of your golf bag. To be doubly sure some golfers even like to add their contact details to it.

In this way there is a very good chance of getting your bag back, if it is lost. It is also a good idea to get the handles of your clubs embossed with your names and contact details, but get a professional to do it.

It may just satisfy you to know that if your bag gets stolen, you stand a very good chance of getting it back again, but it does not rule out theft at all.

Golf can be a Playing Hobby And a Paying One

The worst addiction is alcohol and the one after that is considered to be golf. Hence people always sympathized with the 'golf widows'.

The term 'golf poor' now holds a lot of truth. All the accessories that belong to the game of golf are frightfully expensive and a golfer has to spend a lot of money on them.

If you have been playing golf for a number of years and have been able to manage your expenses for the game well, then you should be advising the newcomers on how they can save when buying golf accessories. You can also teach them how to earn back money from the game and be proud of your rich dividends.

First of all, everybody loves getting free advice from an experienced golfer. People will love you for it, but you will not get anything in return.

You must be smart and render advice to other golfers if they need it. But you can ask for something in return, and that could be the use of their expensive accessories.

The golfers who receive advice and tips from a golf guru should have no problems in agreeing with this offer. In the bargain, you have the privilege of using the expensive golf accessories which you don't possess. It may also be possible to charge them a small fee if you give some informal tuitions.

Your expensive golf accessories could generate some income for you and there are various ways to do it. Another golf instructor could rent it from you, because he could need them to instruct rookies.

With the help of the extra money that you earn, you can finance more golf accessories and fancier ones too. It could also be considered a bit of pocket money for you.
